Hello all! It's Darwin, self-proclaimed Aveyond fandom historian. After much time not updating this site, I am coming to you from a snazzy new blog, on a snazzy new URL, with a snazzy new theme, for the same old site.

I've had some new ideas for pages – especially a blog – but have struggled figuring out where to put them in the old version of the site. Plus, the old version was built using other people's code, which was a great help when I was first getting started with webdev but became more of a hindrance as I got better at it, since I didn't fully understand what I was working with.

So, I've totally overhauled the site! This version is based heavily on the classic Amaranthia forums. I'm hoping this new design will give the site more room to grow as I think of different aspects to include on it. The custom URL is just for fun, but I'm disproportionately excited about it.

I should disclaim: the overhaul is not completely done yet – there's plenty of little tweaks I want to make, and I haven't optimized it for mobile yet – but it should be fully functional, especially if you're viewing it on desktop. I'll make another post when I've finished all those fixes. Until then, I hope you enjoy the new iteration!
